Learning support Assistant -

Fixed Term to 31st August 2020

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities. The successful candidates will need to have GCSE qualification grade C or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and ability to deal with challenging behaviour and to motivate and encourage students.

The pay band for the role is band 2 to mid-point (scp 11 to 14), which is£17,007 - £17,681.

The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five non-pupil days (39 weeks).

The actual salary for the role is £10,934.95 to £11,368.31 (under 5 years’ service)or £11,132.42 to £11,573.60 (over 5 years’ service).

Art Technician -

Art Technician

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic art technician to join our small team.   The successful candidate will have experience of working within an art classroom, or be willing to learn. The post involves supporting the art department in the delivery of teaching, by helping prepare, clean and clear away lesson materials. The successful applicant will be a team player, organised with good time management skills and possess a good sense of humour.

The hours of work will be 10 hours per week, days to be determined and this will be required term time only, so 38 weeks.

The pay band for the role is Band 2 to mid-point£17,007- £17,681.

The actual salary for the role is £3,799.55 to £3,950.13 (under 5 years’ service) and £3,870.08 to £4,023.45 (over 5 years’ service)

Learning Support Assistant 1:1 with named student -

 

FIXED TERM TO 31st August 2020

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities and to have particular responsibility for a named student who has significant medical issues which will be provided upon request. The successful candidate will need to have GCSE qualification grade C or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and will need to receive or have had specific medical training to be able to attend to the student’s personal and medical needs, including help with health/hygiene and welfare matter.

The pay band for the role is band 2 to mid-point (scp 11 to 14), which is£17,007 - £17,681.

The hours of work for the role will be 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five non-pupil days (39 weeks). The actual hours if working will be 9 am to 12.45 pm and 13.15 pm to 15.30 pm, plus 45 minutes per week administration time.

The actual salary for the role is £12,497.08 to £12,992.35 (under 5 years’ service)or £12,722.26 to £13,226.98 (over 5 years’ service).

Exam Invigilators/Readers/Scribes -

 

We are looking to appoint exam invigilators/readers/scribes on an ad-hoc basis, to join our team, who support our examination processes. We are looking for individuals who:

  • are available to work in December, May, and June during exam times
  • are able to work individually and as part of a team
  • have good interpersonal skills
  • are able to follow all instructions including those set by the Exam Board
  • in particular the Reader/Scribe role, require a good level of literacy skills and legible handwriting

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, term time only, on an as and when needed basis.

The pay band for the role is band 3 (scp 17), which is£9.68 per hour.
