Connexions provides information, advice, guidance and support for 13-19 year olds (up to 25th birthday for those with learning difficulties and disabilities)  on life issues, jobs, personal development, learning, volunteering, careers, leisure and more.

Your Personal Adviser, Ru Riddleston, will support you through what is an exciting but high-pressured time in your life. They understand you and your needs and will give you confidential advice on many issues. You can see her in college every Tuesday and Wednesday between 9.20 and 2.30.

Aged 13-19?

If you'd like an interview please complete a referral slip available from Mrs Axtell. She will get back to you and let you know a date and time.

Year 8  You will meet with Ru  in the Summer Term. She will introduce Connexions and herself.

Year 9  All of you should have been introduced to Ru during Spring Term .We have looked at the Fast Tomato and Ru will able to help you in your Option choices. Ru will be at the Parents evening if you or your parents would like a chat.

Year 10 Ru will introduce Connexions and herself to you during the 16+ Options Talk. You are now making your applications for work experience. If you'd like to discuss your career options individually you can make an appointment to see her.

Year 11 Everyone should have had the chance to discuss his or her options during their interview, held throughout the Autumn and Spring term.

Connexions Library

You will find the Connexions Library in the school library. It holds lots of information to help you with your option choices, and about other issues which may be of concern to you. Ask Mrs Axtell if there's something you can't find. 

Connexions Direct

You can access information and advice on a wide range of topics through Connexions Direct, Lines are open from 8am to 2am, Monday to Sunday
