The Department

The Business department supports the curriculum and the College Specialist B& E status by offering students in Year 10 2 course options:

• AQA GCSE Business & Economics
• AQA GCSE Business & Communications Systems

A Key Stage Three course in Economics, Business & Enterprise is also delivered to all Year 9 students.

Several projects and extra curricular activities are offered to students and please do not leave our pages before looking at the photos and information on the Young Enterprise Company Programme and the Media & Website Project

Progression

Most students progress to do A levels or the International Baccalaureate at the Colchester Sixth Form College. The numbers of students opting to continue their studies in the Business & Economics field is good.
